Pazyryk Art is a family-owned business with over 75 years of experience in authentic handmade Persian and Oriental rugs.
Our story began in 1950, when Mohsen Rahim established a wholesale and retail Persian rug business in the historic Kaffashan Bazaar of Tehran. Built on a foundation of integrity, quality, and expertise, the business later expanded to Vienna, Austria, where Mohsen and his two sons, Ramin and Mohammad, served the European market for more than 30 years.
Family Business
In 1990, Mohammad and his wife, Amitiss, brought the family tradition to Canada, opening their first showroom in Toronto. They later moved to Vancouver in 1997 before establishing Pazyryk Art in Calgary in 2008, where they continue to serve customers today.
Today, we proudly offer one of Western Canada's finest collections of new, antique, and one-of-a-kind handmade Persian and Oriental rugs, along with custom-made rugs and wholesale-direct pricing that delivers exceptional value.
